Vegetable Production
We do vegetable aggregations across Nimba through transportation services for our members and other farmers. This transportation has since eased the burden and minimized the spoilage of our members’ vegetables with timely delivery to the market. We are about to go into vegetable processing by adding value to our farm produce.
Mixed Vegetable Production
The Cooperative started its mixed vegetable production on one acre of land in 2016 with just five members but has since expanded its land size to 153 acres with a membership of 1,500 with eight sub-groups established in three districts in Liberia. Our annual yield in 2023 was 74 metric tons of mixed vegetables (cabbage, onion, tomato, eggplant, lettuce, butterball, pepper, etc). The cooperative is also into peanut production and has currently cultivated six acres of land for peanuts.
We also conduct vegetable aggregations across Nimba through transportation services for our members and other farmers. This transportation has since eased the burden and minimized the spoilage of our members’ vegetables with timely delivery to the market. We are about to enter vegetable processing by adding value to our farm produce.
2024 - 2025 Mixed Vegetable Production
At No-To Hunger Farmers’ Multipurpose Cooperative Society (SNoTHFaMCo), we are dedicated to producing a diverse range of high-quality vegetables to meet the nutritional needs of our community. Our current vegetable production includes a variety of crops such as tomatoes, carrots, cucumber, watermelon, and white garden eggplant, all grown using sustainable farming practices. We prioritize organic methods to ensure our produce is free from harmful chemicals, promoting health and environmental sustainability. Our cooperative’s commitment to innovation and community engagement helps us continuously improve our farming techniques and expand our reach, making fresh, nutritious vegetables accessible to all.
